My life is a well-seasoned blend of writing, reading, cooking, and eating.
Writing a story is like developing a recipe. You have an idea of what you want to make (storyline). The starting point is imagining how it will taste when it's done (a cast of characters has to do something). Ingredient line up - mise en place (plot points develop). A cooking technique and method is applied (story structure).
